Megalodon - The Biggest Shark To Ever Exist
Megalodon - The Biggest Shark To Ever Exist Introductory Story A group of Megalodon cruise through the water, 9 million years ago. Near them, a massive Livyatan, over 50 feet long, swims past. Its large caudal fin allows for propulsion, with up-and-down movements created by powerful muscles. These curious sharks are circling around the colossal beast, attempting an ambush. The majestic beast swims carefully, with the Megalodon appearing to be a considerable threat. They continue to intimidate the beast, swimming closer and closer. A bigger Megalodon proves to be a menace. They close in, and the massive whale swims past, with the Megalodon tugging and fumbling about. The Livyatan attempts to escape and bites a rival Megalodon with its 1.2-foot-long teeth, the largest of any known animal. The Megalodon falls to its death. However, a large Megalodon bites the unlucky giant, with its blood spilling on the ancient waters. Its strong jaws break through the chest cavity

Australopithecus - A Crucial Evolutionary Link
Introductory Story A pack of hyenas roams the grasslands of Southern Africa, 3 million years ago. It is sunset, and the fading sun shines on the skin of an early hominin. These hominins were quite possibly ancestors of humans, and stood at around 4 feet tall, with sexual dimorphism present in males being larger than females. They are hairy prehistoric beasts, ones not roaming the lands quadrupedally, but bipedally, leaving the hands free to grasp objects and allowing the eyes to look over tall grasses for predators. Today, hyenas create an ominous threat to this Australopithecus ape-like creature, and these intriguing critters, though small, catch their attention. Hyenas approach, blazing past the grasslands to reach these unfortunate beings. They attempt to hide and run away, but their slow pace makes them struggle to find a path to safety. The hyenas arrive, and these early hominins appear to be doomed. Their small, fragile bodies seem rather unsuited for these threats, yet

Dinosaurs Unearthed - Carnotaurus
Dinosaurs Unearthed - Carnotaurus - Meat-Eating Bull Car-no-tore-us Introductory Story 71 million years ago. Argentina, South America. Pterosaurs glide along a vibrant coastline. A group of Carnotaurus high above this area notices a bountiful marine reptile that has washed ashore, with its powerful odor filling the air. Carnotaurus’s acute sense of smell captures a minimal trace of the pungent odor. The group explores this new opportunity — one that may provide a considerable amount of meat. Carnotaurus walk along the beach, leaving large tracks in their wake. The pterosaurs had already been eating the large marine reptile, rich in meat and nutrients. The Carnotaurus approaches, and the pterosaur appears to not be giving up its prized meal away. Nonetheless, a bigger Carnotaurus yanks him away. The group feasts on the sizable meal, a great bite that drenches them in blood. Their strange aura intimidates the pterosaurs, as they swarm the skies while the Carnotaurus feast. Finally

Primeval Human - Homo Habilis - Early Toolmakers
Primeval Human - Homo Habilis - Early Toolmakers Ho-Mow Huh-Bi-Luhs Introductory Story 2 million years ago. South Africa. An early forger is crafting a tool. These carefully selected lithic cores are struck with technique and dexterity. This is an early handyman at work. In the distance, a group of cheetahs is dismembering the remains of an impala. Homo habilis seeks something to eat, and though this seems like a risky situation, this group is up for the challenge, as it will provide a sizable meal. The group gets closer and closer, until they attempt to confuse a cheetah to grab their portion. The cheetah fights back, unfazed by their actions. However, one of the group grabs part of the carcass and runs quickly to safety. The cheetah is then overpowered by the group, proving the power of collaboration. With their newly made stone tools, they find it easy to butcher the meat. The Homo habilis group consumes high quantities of meat, with scientists suggesting this led to the growth

Dinosaurs Unearthed - Spinosaurus
An Introductory Story North Africa 95 Million Years Ago The skies are lush with gliding pterosaurs. Below, two Spinosauri move around shallow water, searching for something to eat. A mother Spinosaurus rests amongst the other smaller Spinosaurus babies at the mudflats. A pair of Spinosaurus waddle in the water. A fish passes by, and one of the Spinosaurus quickly snatches it, finding a meal for the day. Underwater, Spinosaurus’s paddle-like tail proves effective. Three Spinosauri swim through the plants and algae. One of the Spinosauri spots a prehistoric fish, Onchopristis. And one even snatches a fish. Finally, they all rest in the mangrove.
